Job Description

Our Client is seeking a Service Advisor for their Dealership.  Your role will be to ensure optimum advice and customer care quality for Service customers.  You will report directly to the Service Manager. ​


Responsibilities include

  • Managing the workshop booking in process to ensure maximum workshop occupancy and efficiency
  • Creating complete and detailed orders with vehicle data, diagnosis, estimated FRU (operation times) and working hours, completion date, scope of costs; detailed description of faults (original statements by customer)
  • Organising test drives to ensure correct diagnosis by a Service technician and workshop master technician
  • Checking parts availability prior to start of repairs
  • Offering accessories and lifestyle products, as well as the services of the dealership within the framework of the advice discussion
  • Selling services not yet performed (telephone offers)
  • Ensuring customer mobility
  • Obtaining customer approval for additional work and provide this information to the workshop master technician / time scheduling
  • Checking and approving the complete and correct invoicing for services
  • Observing the applicable Terms and Conditions of Repairs
  • Performing final approval with test drive and check of invoice
  • Explaining the invoice to the customer and to hand over the car to the customer
  • Providing information on prices and agree schedules
  • Assessing warranty and goodwill applications from both a professional and technical point of view
  • Agreeing on payment terms with the customers, according to principles established with the directors
  • Recording vehicle data for the customer file
  • Making cost estimates taking all-in prices and maintenance (in accordance with the current value) into account.
  • Assigning loan and rental cars to customers
  • Passing on information to Parts Sales to optimise parts supply
  • Organising and check product recall campaigns
  • Invoicing orders
  • Splitting warranties
